Our Challenge to You
Make Water Street, a premier corridor in Lower Manhattan, the smartest and most responsive street in NYC. We've got lots of data and we need your help to improve the way we live, work, learn, and play in the built environment.
Product Wish List
The sky is the limit on making this street the smartest and most responsive. However, products we’ve considered are data visualization either in real time or a tracking tool.
We’re looking for a product that:
• Integrates, analyzes, and visualizes relevant public and private data sets, providing a single view of historical and potentially real-time information.Â
• Designs for increasing the StreetIQ of Water Street: What does a future smarter/better/faster/stronger Water Street look like?
• Connect this to city services – create a way to use data to promote the improvement of public services.

Evaluation Criteria
• Comprehensiveness of tool/product/visualization in giving us a picture of Water Street so that we can understand what is happening in real-time better.
• Functionality of the tool to make an impact on decision making and advance our goal of increasing the StreetIQ of Water Street.
• Scalability – can this be replicated in other parts of the city?
